BUNNY BLUE
Bunnies are back and they are AWESOME! Today's offering is for a Primitive and Simple 5
3/4"T X 6"W Easter bunny cupboard tuck. It is larger than my typical bowl fillers and not
big enough to be a pillow, quite, but it is the perfect little accessory to add to a box of
Easter candy, or to snuggle in between a basket full of marshmallow peeps. I've made him
from an authentic (NOT REPRODUCTION, but the REAL DEAL) 1800's wool or wool blend woven
coverlet, this time in dark blue (more of a slate blue color, not indigo) and white, which
I've gently aged to a soft oatmeal tan color. For decoration, I've kept it basic with the
addition of only a jute bow and a hand stamped grubby round "PRIM" hang tag. This is one of
my all time favorite bunny shapes, which I've used for 20+ years. Last year's batch in this shape reminded me of old Dedhamware, but this one is
more in keeping with your old blue willow or other transferware pices and even more betterer
if you happen to have some of the old tan stoneware with the cobalt blue stripe! YUMMY! My
extra photo shows you an example of a grouping of the bunnies and some of my own decorative
bits and pieces, but this listing is ONLY for ONE rabbit tuck per quantity purchased, though you may select as many as you'd like until they are all gone. NOT included are my
collectible Buster Brown canted tote, my old blue Ball canning jar and antique red button
collection, the vintage Munising wooden bowl or the chunky rosehip fixin's, but I bet you
already have oodles of your own treasures to help show off the rabbit! You can see how well
these go with all kinds of colonial and any genre of vintage goodies, so they are quite
appropriate for year 'round. If you need a few more pieces and parts to go with this, please
keep in mind that you'll save on shipping when you purchase multiple items that are paid for
together, so be sure you check out all my other goodies, just in case.
If you see something you love...please, please don't wait and miss out on your chance to
bring it home! Many of my items are made from antique/collectible bits and pieces and I
can't just order those from a catalog like I would with a can of paint! I am almost NEVER
contacted by someone who regrets a purchase, but OFTEN by someone who missed out on their
favorite treasure!
